Bay area bus riders get Wi-Fi access

Commuter rail lines in California have been experimenting with providing Wi-Fi service to travelers but this is the first service being offered on buses.

AT&T operates the system which was deployed with a $340,000 grant from the Alameda County Congestion Management Agency. The grant also covers two years of access for commuters.
