Webinar June 13: Performing site surveys for location-based apps

I found this webinar taking place on 13 June 2013 (Thursday) at 11:00am Pacific Time given by Jim Geier, who has contributed many articles to MuniWireless. Jim will explain how to perform a site survey when you have to design a wireless LAN that will support location-based applications. Jim will use examples from his own projects using Fluke Networks’ AirMagnet Survey.

Jim Geier is Principal Consultant of Wireless-Nets, Ltd. and has 25 years of experience in the wireless communications industry, with emphasis on designing wireless networks. He has performed dozens of large-scale site surveys in many venues, such as hospitals, airports, universities and municipalities, for the purposes of designing and verifying 802.11 wireless networks. Jim is author of several books, including Designing and Deploying 802.11n Wireless Networks (Cisco Press) and Implementing 802.1x Security Solutions (Wiley).

NOTE: This webinar is being sponsored by Fluke and you must go to the Fluke Networks website to register.
