I’ve covered the Russian company called Yota in the past when it was a WiMAX operator with a luscious little portable egg-like WiMAX to Wi-Fi converter and when it dumped WiMAX and morphed into an LTE operator (smart move).
Now it’s selling some of the most gorgeous devices I’ve seen, things I would not mind seeing under my Christmas tree this year.
The YotaPhone2 which has two screens, front and back, battery life measured in days (at least the press release says so), and an easy-on-the-eye reading experience.
To accompany this lovely device, one must get their 4G routers, YotaRuby or YotaSwift. You pop in your SIM card, and no matter where you are in the world, off you go! This is perfect for people who travel a lot (like me) who get prepaid SIM cards for their phones or routers.
